This quilt started out as another quilt. I did not like the way the blocks came out. Plus I messed up readingthe pattern on a couple of rows. I took the blocks and made my own creation and this is what turned out to be. Sometimes freestyle is more fun than following a quilt pattern.

I actually got to spend a half day on Saturday and Sunday quilting. Now that I am back in the mood to quilt, I do not want to do anything else. Must use self discipline and quilt when I get my stuff done. Will post pictures soon.

These blocks are called stars blocks. Out of one pattern you get 3 different quilts. Pretty amazing that the Eleanor Burns. Thanks El.

Here are the blocks made from the scraps of the Day and Night quilt.

This first one is called the Spider block. I have not decided if I am goingto put the finishing pieces around each block to make into a square or just applique on some background fabric.
